Confirmation

Confirmation marks the commitment of a person’s life to Jesus Christ, and to Christ’s mission in the world through the church. It is the beginning of a vital relationship with Christ and the church, not an end to Sunday school or worship attendance. Through the foundational elements of prayer, presence, gifts, and service, the Confirmation program at Beth Eden is designed to prepare youth for this commitment.

The Confirmation experience at Beth Eden UMC is a joint program with Aldersgate UMC, and runs from September to May. Class meets twice monthly, alternating between Beth Eden and Aldersgate campuses. During this time, students will learn about what it means to take the vow of church membership, working with their pastor, peers, and a mentor.
