Community Outreach

Beth Eden UMC’s ministry isn’t confined to the walls of our church building. The core of our mission to enlighten, educate, encourage, and evangelize involves reaching those in our community, spreading the message of God’s grace through serving and loving others. Westview Elementary School

Beth Eden UMC is located next door to Westview Elementary School. During the 2023-24 school year, Beth Eden began meeting with the school’s principal and parent liaison to identify the needs of Westview students and teachers to offer support, prayers, and care for the next generation in our community.

  • Hosting Back to School Nights at Beth Eden UMC and Westview Elementary with dinner, snacks, and school supplies (August)
  • Assisting with meal preparation and supervision at Westview’s Halloween Dance Party (October)
  • Collecting snow pants, hats, gloves, sweatpants, and other winter gear for students and the nurse’s office (November and December)
  • Preparing Teachers’ Christmas Baskets to show our appreciation for educators (December)

Children's Christmas Shoppe

Beth Eden UMC’s Children’s Christmas Shoppe exists to help children experience the joy of giving during the holidays. During the Christmas Shoppe event, parents, grandparents, and other guardians can bring their children to the church where someone will help them shop for the loved ones on their list. A wide variety of gifts at kid-friendly prices are available to choose from, and will be wrapped for the child to give to family members and friends on Christmas.






Alleluia Quartet

“Four guys from Beth Eden United Methodist Church got together in 1985 to share their musical talents in worship. Since that day, God has continued to bless them and their ministry. Alleluia Quartet shares their unique style of four part harmony to witness to the love of God in their lives.”

The talented men of Alleluia Quartet have shared their musical gifts through multiple recorded albums and performances throughout Northern Illinois, Southern Wisconsin, Ohio, and Iowa. Learn more about AQ and hear some of their music here.
